Ranking the 14 Worst Logos in MLB History

The Cleveland Indians stopped using "Chief Wahoo," which depicted native Americans in a racist way, as their primary logo during the 2014 season. The controversial logo was altogether removed from the team's uniforms after the 2018 season.

Unfortunately, a sport that has existed since the late 1800s does have a history of some logos that are unflattering or altogether rooted in bigotry. Those logos have largely been put to the side permanently by the sport and will not be part of this discussion.

However, there are quite a few primary and alternate logos in MLB history that are unsightly simply because they were poorly designed or a bit too ambitious. Here's a look at the 14 worst in the history of the sport:
