The Patriots (5-2) will look for their fifth consecutive win on Monday night as they head to Buffalo to face the struggling Bills (2-5).

Rookie running back Sony Michel will miss this week’s contest after suffering a knee injury in last week’s game against Chicago, so the Patriots will look to both James White and Kenjon Barner to increase their workload.

While the Bills have struggled at the quarterback position all season, veteran QB Derek Anderson will make his second start of the season against the Patriots on Monday. Buffalo will be without rookie Josh Allen, who suffered an elbow injury earlier in the year.

Rob Gronkowski is expected to make his return to action on Monday night after missing last week’s game with a back ailment.

This week will give the Patriots an opportunity to ensure all operations are running smoothly before a big matchup next week against Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers.
