Ex-Patriots wideout Jabar Gaffney is being accused of engaging in some NFL-on-NFL crime. Last month, former cornerback Lito Sheppard said Gaffney did $14,000 worth of damage to his car by slashing the tires and pouring sugar into the gas tank while he was dining at a restaurant in Jacksonville Beach.

While Gaffney denies Sheppard’s claims, the Jacksonville police have filed an arrest warrant for Gaffney, WJXT reports. Gaffney is charged with criminal mischief, which is a felony.

In the petition for the warrant, Sheppard, who played with Gaffney in high school and at the University of Florida, says Gaffney had been harassing him for years due to his suspicion that Sheppard had an affair with his wife. Sheppard denies the infidelity occurred.

Recently, a judge granted Sheppard a temporary restraining order against Gaffney, after video surfaced of somebody vandalizing Sheppard’s BMW. Gaffney’s attorney insists his client isn’t featured in the aforementioned clip.
