Nike passed on Lonzo Ball and decided to go with Markelle Fultz.

The apparel juggernaut, which turned down Ball after his father had demanded they license his Big Baller Brand, has agreed to a multiyear deal with Fultz, Adrian Wojnarowski reports. The potential No. 1 overall pick announced the deal on Twitter.

It's been a busy day on social media for Fultz, who was photographed earlier Friday sitting on the hood of Red Auerbach's Mercedes. The car was parked at Fultz's alma mater, DeMatha Catholic High School in Maryland.

The Celtics have been linked to Fultz ever since they landed the No. 1 pick last month, but an anonymous GM told ESPN's Chad Forde Thursday they may select Kansas forward Josh Jackson instead. Fultz averaged 23.2 points, 5.9 assists, 5.7 rebounds per game during his freshman season at Washington.
