Be on the lookout for a wandering Mike Napoli on the streets of Boston Wednesday night.

The 2013 World Series champion was partying in the stands during Game 1, and promises to be there again for Game 2. “Last night wasn’t fun at all!!,” Napoli wrote on Instagram. “Can’t wait to do it again tonight!”

One of the most iconic images of the Red Sox’ surprise 2013 World Series run was a shirtless Napoli doing a Back Bay bar crawl following the championship parade. The slugging first baseman tended bar at McGreevy’s and stopped by the now-defunct Daisy Buchanan’s –– God rest its soul.

Napoli was one of the faces of the beloved ’13 club, smacking 23 home runs with an .842 OPS. He hit .300 in the ALCS that year as well.

Though Napoli only played 2.5 seasons in Boston, he’ll forever be part of Red Sox lore. This current group is just three wins away from having the same thing happen to them –– minus the shirtless drinking.
