David Price drew big ratings numbers in his successful quest to break his postseason schneid. The Red Sox drew a 26.2 household rating in Boston for their clinching victory over the Astros Thursday, according to TBS. That’s the best Red Sox rating in Boston since 2013 and TBS’ best for any MLB game in a local market in a decade.

In addition, the 4-1 Red Sox victory was tied for the highest-rated LCS Game 5 for TBS since 2009.

While there’s been lots of talk about late start times and interminable play, this number illustrates how much interest there has been in the Red Sox’ postseason run. The Patriots predictably defeated them when they went head-to-head last Sunday, but the numbers show the Red Sox held onto a larger percentage of their audience.

With the World Series set to begin in Boston Tuesday night, all eyes will be on the numbers from 2013, the last time the Red Sox played in the Fall Classic. That year, Game 1 between the Red Sox and Cardinals drew a 39.7 household rating in Boston.
