Shannon Sharpe admits he rips Tom Brady because he's sick of seeing Patriots win

Shannon Sharpe is the most honest Tom Brady hater. The Hall of Fame tight end bashes TB12 like many of his other bloviating brethren, even criticizing the Patriots’ quarterback for saying he stayed up late watching film of the Chargers following their victory over the Ravens.

The vitriol is ridiculous, but at least Sharpe has explained himself. On FS1’s “Undisputed” Tuesday –– which is the lowly watched debate show that Sharpe hosts with Skip Bayless –– Sharpe said he’s sick and tired of Brady winning all of the time.

"I've met him on several occasions,” Sharpe said. “He really is a great dude. I can't take that away from him. ... I've met him a couple times and he really is a great guy. I'm tired of all this winning! I'm tired of it. I'm tired of it.”

Now that’s a perfectly reasonable explanation for Sharpe’s incessant Brady bashing. Brady has gone to eight straight AFC championships and 13 in 17 years. That means Brady has reached the AFC championship 76.4 percent of the time, which is better than LeBron James’ career free throw percentage (74.4).

The entire NFL world outside of New England is sick of seeing the Patriots winning. At least Sharpe admitted the truth. If only Max Kellerman and others could bring themselves to do the same thing.
