We all know how much Tom Brady enjoys sculpting his personal lifestyle brand and philosophy, the TB12 Method. But who knew he also likes building the perfect home?

Listen to your team news NOW.

In his first interview of the season with the “Greg Hill Show,” Brady revealed he may want to go into architectural design when he finally decides to stop playing football. (Don’t fret, Patriots fans: Brady repeated his desire to play football until he’s 45 years old at another point in the interview.)

“Nothing really feels the way football does, or preparing for football. I love our TB12 business, because it’s so authentic to my life, and so authentic to how I live my life,” Brady said. “I think that's why it’s been so fun for me to pursue that –– mostly in the offseason. I felt like so many people have asked me over the years what I’m doing, and to actually lay it out for people and say, ‘Here are all the learnings that I’ve had,’ has been a great off-field excitement to me to share with other people. So that will definitely be part of my second career, per se. Being a dad and being a husband will be another part of that. And then what’s beyond that –– maybe I’ll be an architectural designer, because I love building houses.”

Brady and wife Gisele Bundchen recently put their $39 million Brookline estate on the market, and are reportedly house-hunting in glitzy New York suburbs Greenwich, Conn., and Alpine, N.J. The couple also owns homes in Manhattan, Montana and Costa Rica.

Brady emphasized nobody should read into his decision to sell his full-time Boston residence.

“You shouldn’t read into anything," he said. "It takes a long time to sell a house. I don’t know if you guys know, my house is little bit of an expensive one, so it doesn’t fly off the shelves in a couple of weeks. I think I am at a point in my life where there are a lot of considerations that go into playing. I have a very busy professional life, I have a very busy personal life and any decision that is made has to consider everything.”
