After being called up to Triple-A Pawtucket last week, Red Sox top prospect Bobby Dalbec is off to a good start with the PawSox, as he went 2-for-4 on Thursday to bring his average up to .313.

Dalbec's average is a bit of an empty one, as he hasn't quite reproduced the power and patience he showed off in Double-A yet at this new level. The third baseman is 5-for-16 with five singles and without a walk, with a .313/.313/.313 slash line. He's only played four games, however, and has at least flashed an ability to get his bat to the ball in Triple-A.
