After a couple hot weeks with Double-A Portland, Red Sox top prospect Bobby Dalbec went cold over the weekend, going a combined 0-for-11 over three games against the Reading Fightin Phils.

Stream MLB games now on fuboTV.

Dalbec has had a solid month of June up to this point, hovering around .250 at the plate for the month but drawing walks at a high rate and flashing some power, but he only managed to reach base once in 12 plate appearances, a walk on Saturday.

The young infielder is now slashing .233/.372/.466 for the season.

Pearce finishing up rehab stint

Steve Pearce continued his rehab assignment with Triple-A Pawtucket over the weekend, going 1-for-3 with a single and a walk on Sunday.

The 2018 World Series MVP will continue with the Paw Sox during the early part of this week, and will be evaluated as the week goes on before making his return to the majors.
