Continuing to try and work his way back to the big-league ballclub, Ryan Brasier threw a scoreless inning for Triple-A Pawtucket on Thursday, his fourth scoreless inning in five appearances since being sent down upon the Red Sox' acquisition of Andrew Cashner in July.

Brasier has a 1.80 ERA in Triple-A, and posted a 4.46 ERA over 40.1 innings in the majors this season.

Before Brasier took the ball, top pitching prospect Tanner Houck also hung up a zero, walking a batter but exiting without allowing a run in an inning of work.

Houck's ERA is back down to 2.57 after getting touched up for the first time in Pawtucket on July 28.
