Three members of Boston College's national championship hockey team were among seven individuals in a car involved in a collision with an MBTA trolley late Saturday night, according to multiple reports. Philip Samuelsson, Parker Milner and Patrick Wey, all freshmen, were in a Jeep Cherokee that allegedly swerved in front of the train on Commonwealth Ave. MBTA spokesman Joe Pesaturo said the trolley operator saw three of the car's occupants remove what appeared to be alcoholic beverage containers before fleeing the scene. Four occupants were transported to the hospital for non-life-threatning neck and back injuries, including Samuelsson and Wey. Milner was one of the three individuals who allegedly fled. "All seven of these individuals face charges of being minors in possession of alcohol," Pesaturo said. A statement from Boston College said the driver, 19-year-old Jane Stanton, was not drinking at the time of the accident.
