The Blues re-signed restricted free agent David Perron to a four-year, $15.25 million deal on Thursday. Perron, who was drafted in the first round (26th overall) by the Blues in 2007, recorded 21 goals and 21 assists in 57 games last season. The 24-year-old winger missed 97 games over 13 months between the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons due to a severe concussion. Perron received the concussion on this big hit from Joe Thornton on Nov. 4, 2010, and did not play his next NHL game until Dec. 3, 2011. Since entering the league in 2007, Perron has scored 74 goals and tallied 99 assists in 292 games with St. Louis. The Blues, who were the second seed in the Western Conference last season, hope to go deeper into the playoffs next season after falling to the Kings in the Western Conference semifinals.
