Boston College names Anthony Brown starting QB for opener

The much-anticipated Boston College quarterback battle is over.

Redshirt freshman Anthony Brown will become the second-ever freshman in school history to start an opener.

The announcement came all the way down to the very last minute before coach Steve Addazio elected to go with potential in his youngster over a more experienced Darius Wade.
