It's Saturday and that means it is time for college football. The Eagles are down in Clemson, South Carolina to take on the Tigers in Death Valley this afternoon and the BC Blog will be with you all day bringing updates and analysis. This Eagles squad is looking to really evaluate what this team is made of in their first big test of the season. It started off well for the Eagles as junior free safety Wes Davis picked off Clemson quarterback Kyle Parker as the Tigers drove during their first possession. Justin Tuggle got the first snaps for the Eagles under center and promptly directed a three-and-out against the speedy Clemson defense. Boston College punter Ryan Quigley took his chances by booming one to Tigers' running back C.J. Spiller . . . and paid for it. A juke and a burst and Spiller found open field all the way to pay dirt, 77 yard touchdown punt return. Clemson 7 - BC 0.
