Eagles Intercept Morgan, Turn Into Touchdown

CHESTNUT HILL -- The Eagles have now forced their first turnover of the season (they had none against Northeastern last week). Junior Mike Morrissey tipped a pass from Kent State quarterback Giorgio Morgan that landed in the hands of redshirt freshman Nick Clancy at the Kent State 16 yard line. Boston College then wasted no time converting the turnover into points. After a five yard loss by Montel Harris, quarterback Dave Shinski hit senior captain wide receiver Rich Gunnell on a 21 yard fade into the end zone. It is Gunnell's first catch of the season and the 12th touchdown of his college career.
