On Thursday morning, the Bruins unveiled their 2019 Winter Classic jerseys to be worn at Notre Dame Stadium and they are gorgeous.

The jerseys pay homage to the 1930’s classic uniform and are adorned with clovers on the collar which include the years the B’s won the Stanley Cup.

Cam Neely told reporters the jerseys are a classic, and a good combination.

"I think it came out fantastic. I love the logo, I love going back through our team's history," said Neely. "There's so much great history and a lot of great uniforms that have been worn and to find a jersey, I think the 75th anniversary jersey was somewhat similar with the logo."

Neely added: "This is going back to the '30s with the color scheme and the logo, so I think when you talk about Winter Classic and outdoor hockey, you think about a little more old school and that's why we went back to the '30s."

Bruins captain Zdeno Chara also likes them.

"I think it's really, really beautiful," said Chara. "I had a chance to see it and have all the little details explained to me. I think it's cool how they included all the important pieces of the history and the identity of this team. I think it's really special. Very simple, but very unique."

Chara added: "You have to enjoy it. It's just a special feeling to wear the Winter Classic jersey because it's so much history, so much they want to include in that one game and make part of the whole unity of Boston Bruins fans and heritage and history."

The Bruins will take on the Blackhawks on New Year's Day.
