Former New England Patriots tight end Jermaine Wiggins has been causing quite the scene at WEEI of late.

On Wednesday morning, Wiggy made his morning show debut on the Mut & Callahan program, as he debated hosts Mike Mutnansky and Gerry Callahan on Tom Brady.

In a tweet put out an hour ago on Thursday afternoon, Wiggy fired back at Mut, who said Thursday morning that he was only a 2-hour guest.

"So I'm bout to roll up here in Home Depot," started Wiggins. "Just was listening to Mut & Callahan because I heard they were talking about me a little bit. Mut, you must be out yo God damn mind. Two hours during football season? Boy, I can talk about anything with anybody for four hours a day. Check my resume! I'm no damn football guy. I'm a mother****** that knows everything about whatever that may be.

"Whether it's Trump, whether it's Josh Gordon, whether it's the Celtics. Whatever it be you want to talk about. Four hours, that's what I do. Two hours is for the rest of them clowns you have on the show. I talk about whatever, whenever, with whoever. And I ain't afraid to say what's on my mind."

Wiggy ended the video with another parting shot at the newly-assembled morning show.

"Mut & Callahan, I might be seeing you soon but I'm definitely going to get on Mut's ass about two hours during football season," said Wiggy. "The hell I look like? A damn role player? Nah, playboy. Check my resume!"

After going on the show Wednesday morning, Wiggy posted another video to Twitter ripping Mut. This time, it was from a hospital bed.

"So, went on Mut & Callahan this morning, show went really good," began Wiggins. "Only problem is, I had to check myself into the hospital because Mut's takes were so dumb I think I might've caught something from him and I might be getting dumber as time goes on throughout the day so I'll see if the doctors can do anything. Maybe they can give me something, but hopefully I'll be alright and I'll be able to make a full recovery.

"But I want to thank the boys for having me on and hopefully we can do it again in the future."

Mut quoted the tweet with his own dig at Wiggy.

It should be interesting to see who comes out on top of this battle: the newly anointed primetime host Mut or the station's newest and freshest firebrand added to the bench.

Only time will tell.
