Four Boston College players were named to the Atlantic Coast Conference's All-Academic football team that was announced Wednesday, including kicker Steve Aponavicius, who became just the 11th player to be named to the team all four years since the team was first named in 1954. The other three Eagles on the list are offensive linemen Anthony Castonzo, Emmett Cleary and Nathan Richman (North Easton, Mass.). To be eligible for consideration, a player must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during his academic career.
