Another reliever is off the trade market. The Marlins have traded right-hander David Phelps to the Mariners, according to Mark Feinsand of MLB.com.

Seattle will be sending four prospects to Miami in exchange for Phelps.

Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe reported the Sox called Miami to inquire about Phelps and third baseman Martin Prado.

Phelps is 2-4 with a 3.45 ERA and a 1.340 WHIP in 47 innings pitched for the Marlins this season. This is his first full season as a reliever. The Mariners are 1.5 games out of a wild card spot and had been looking to add an arm to a bullpen that had posted a 4.05 ERA and a 1.28 WHIP so far this season.
