Wednesday Red Sox Farm Report: Rafael Devers records 2 hits, Bryce Brentz hits 20th home run

Here is a look at what happened in the Red Sox farm system on Tuesday.

TRIPLE-A PAWTUCKET RED SOX (50-44): W, 6-0 vs. Toledo

- Rafael Devers went 2-for-4 with two singles. Devers is 7-for-15 since being called up to Triple-A last week.

- The PawSox used five relievers, including Robby Scott who was sent to Pawtucket after Brian Johnson and Hector Velazquez were promoted to Boston. Scott threw 1 1/3 innings, allowing no runs, one hit and one walk.

- Bryce Brentz continues to send the ball to the moon. The left fielder went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs. It was his 20th home run of the season, which is the second most in the International League.

- Ty Buttery picked up the win after throwing three scoreless innings, allowing just one hit and no walks, while striking out four.

- The PawSox have won eight in a row, including 10 wins in their last 11 games. Tuesday’s game was Pawtucket’s 14th shutout win of the season.

DOUBLE-A PORTLAND SEA DOGS (43-49): L, 9-6 vs. Trenton

- Starter Jake Drehoff lasted only two innings, giving up seven runs, eight hits and a walk with two strikeouts.

- Jeremy Barfield went 2-for-4 with two RBIs, a double, a run scored and a walk. Barfield is hitting .286/.360/.505 this season.

HIGH-A SALEM RED SOX (56-39): W, 1-0 vs. Carolina

- Roniel Raudes threw six scoreless innings, allowing just four hits and two walls with four strikeouts.

- In relief of Raudes, Logan Boyd threw three scoreless innings, giving up only two hits, three walks, while striking out three strikeouts.

- Chris Madera was 1-for-4 with a RBI single in the third inning.

SINGLE-A GREENVILLE DRIVE (53-40): W, 3-1 vs. Hickory

- Jhonathan Diaz threw six innings, giving up one run, three hits and two walks with five strikeouts.

- Tyler Hill went 2-for-4 with a RBI and a run scored.

SHORT SEASON-A LOWELL SPINNERS (11-16): L, 9-1 vs. Aberdeen

- Starter Nick Duron threw one inning, allowing one run, three hits and one walk.

- Garrett Benge went 1-for-4 with 1 RBI.
