Blake Swihart rejoined the Red Sox on Monday morning in Fort Myers and thanked fans, teammates and media for their support, per reporters present, including Alex Speier of the Boston Globe.

Swihart left the team over the weekend following the death of his younger brother, Romell Jordan, who passed away last Wednesday at age 23. Swihart played the next day before returning to his native New Mexico to be with his family.

Swihart will travel to West Palm Beach on Tuesday and play against the Nationals.
