ESPN just loves tweaking Patriots fans.

The Worldwide Leader just released its list of the top 100 players in the NFL, based on a poll of experts, and defending MVP Tom Brady checked in at . . . No. 2.

The top spot went to Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who has won four fewer Super Bowls than Brady. The only other Patriots player in the top 100 was tight end Rob Gronkowski at No. 12. Brady was named the No. 1 player last year.

The rest of the top 10 was Rams defensive lineman Aaron Donald, Steelers wideout Antonio Brown, Broncos linebacker Von Miller, Saints quarterback Drew Brees, Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell, Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones, Jaguars corner Jalen Ramsey, and Raiders pass rusher Khalil Mack.

Only eight teams had fewer players on the list than the Patriots. The Dolphins, Bears, and Colts had none.
