Donald Trump's first two years in office have been marked by chaos, but Jose Canseco knows just the man to straighten things out as his new Chief of Staff: Jose Canseco.

The former baseball slugger turned admitted steroid user turned amateur boxer turned C-list reality TV star turned political operative made his pitch to replace John Kelly as Trump's Chief of Staff on Twitter on Wednesday night. Wrote the former Bash Brother:

"Hey little buddy @realDonaldTrump u need a bash brother for Chief if (sic) Staff. Got a secret reorg plan already. Also worried about you looking more like a Twinkie everyday. I will buff you up daily workouts. DM me. #yeswecanseco"

Canseco is no stranger to Capitol Hill, having testified before Congress in 2005 about steroid use in baseball. He's also no stranger to Trump, having quit on Season 11 of The Apprentice to visit his ailing father.

In any event, this isn't the first position Canseco has sought in Trump's administration. Two months ago, he tweeted at his "little buddy" that he also had prepared a confidential 90-day plan to serve as the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations.
