Isaiah Thomas knows what DeMar DeRozan is feeling.

DeRozan sounds none-too-pleased with his former team after the Raptors reached a deal to send him to the Spurs for two-time Defensive Player of the Year Kawhi Leonard. DeRozan took to social media on Tuesday to make his unhappiness known, writing, "Ain't no loyalty in this game." It seems Thomas was paying attention.

Though we technically don't know what he was referring to with the following tweet, it's not hard to read between the lines.

"Just learn from my story!" Thomas wrote on Twitter. "Loyalty is just a word in this game SMH."

A year ago at this time, Thomas believed he'd be sharing the court with All-Stars Gordon Hayward and Al Horford in Boston. But last August, he was shockingly traded to the Cavaliers in a blockbuster for All-Star guard Kyrie Irving.

Thomas felt betrayed after leading the Celtics to the conference finals despite losing his sister in a car accident and his teeth in a collision during the conference semifinals. He had just completed one of the greatest individual seasons in team history, but has struggled with the aftereffects of a hip injury suffered in Boston. The Cavaliers traded him to the Lakers after only 15 games, and he recently signed a one-year deal worth $2.03 million with the Nuggets.
