Mike Mutnansky was out for revenge.

After losing to Kirk & Callahan producer Chris Curtis in the Battle of the Brainless music edition last summer -- the infamous battle featuring answers like Clarence Clearwater Revival and Rock the Cashbar -- Mut was feeling low. Mut requested a rematch, wanting to prove himself after feeling disrespected by Curtis, saying Curtis acts like he's above Mut.

The disrespect continued. Curtis started the competition Wednesday morning by brushing aside his challenger.

This edition featured more classic idiocy from two morons on music. It’s amazing how songs they grew up with, that basically everyone knows, still escape these two each time this happens. Yes, Mut, everybody listening in the car knows Open Arms by Journey, or The Stranger by Billy Joel or Life’s Been Good by Joe Walsh.

Perhaps the worst miss yet was Jet by Paul McCartney & Wings after the competition was over. Gerry gave away nearly every tip possible, but to no avail.

Werewolves of Thunder and Werewolves of Wonder were two suggestions in trying to guess Werewolves of London.

Curtis took a quick 2-0 lead, and held a short lead throughout, before finishing Mut off by guessing Journey. Curtis sounded as excited as ever on-air, now without question the smarter of the two dummies on music.
