AROUND THE WEB:

-- Saturday night was potentially Tom Brady's last game as a member of the Patriots, and that has produced a wide range of reactions. A few people went as far as to burn his jersey.

Or tried to.

One loser attempted to burn his No. 12 jersey but found it was nonflammable.

Very on-brand.

-- Julian Edelman thanked Patriots fans in an Instagram post on Sunday after the season-ending loss to the Titans.

Pats Nation, thank you for your unparalleled support this year. We didn’t accomplish our goal this time, but we will come back focused and hungry. On to 2020. --

“Pats Nation, thank you for your unparalleled support this year. We didn’t accomplish our goal this time, but we will come back focused and hungry. On to 2020.,” Edelman captioned the photo, along with a squirrel emoji.

QUOTE OF THE DAY: “Before the season started it was very important to Tom (Brady) that he be free to do whatever he wanted at the end of the year. You know what I said to myself? That any person who plays 20 years for this team and helps us get to six Super Bowls, and been really selfless, has earned that right. I love the young man like he’s part of my family. Blood family. Anyone who’s done that has earned the right to control his future after 20 years.” -- Robert Kraft, on Tom Brady
