Dak Prescott is making one thing clear: he is not interested in using Tom Brady’s contract negotiation style.

Prescott’s rookie contract is set to expire in 2020 and the Cowboys will likely start to enter talks with him about an extension.

He is not looking to give the Cowboys a discount anymore, saying “I think the team knows how to pay what’s deserved,” but he has a theory on why Brady does this for the Patriots.

“Nobody’s wife makes as much money as his wife does either,” Prescott said. “When Tom Brady isn’t the breadwinner in the home, then that’s a great problem to have. So in that case, he can do that. He can do his contract however you want to do it.”

Brady’s wife, retired supermodel Gisele Bundchen, made $10 million in the past year and has a reported net worth of $400 million.
