Donald Trump is speaking out about the Nike/Colin Kaepernick/NFL situation and posted a tweet on Wednesday reiterating his disdain for players kneeling during the national anthem.

He said Nike is getting “absolutely killed” for the company’s new campaign with Colin Kaepernick and the NFL is “hard to watch” with players protesting during the anthem.

Trump also said on Tuesday Nike is sending a "terrible message" by partnering with Kaepernick.

"I think it's a terrible message and a message that shouldn't be sent," Trump said. "There's no reason for it."

He also noted Nike is a tenant of his and "they pay a lot of rent."

"As much as I disagree with the Colin Kaepernick endorsement, in another way — I mean, I wouldn't have done it," he said. "In another way, it is what this country is all about, that you have certain freedoms to do things that other people think you shouldn't do, but I personally am on a different side of it."
