-- The Antonio Brown saga with the Raiders continued in a big way on Thursday and his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, commented on his client’s status with the team ahead of Thursday’s matchup between the Packers and Bears.

“From my perspective, I’m trying to get it to work out,” Rosenhaus told Mike Florio. “I’d like him to honor his contract with the Raiders, play this year, have a great season. I still think that’s doable.”

Brown and Raiders general manager Mike Mayock got into a confrontation on Thursday that stopped short of getting physical.

He also said a suspension from the Raiders has not been finalized.

“There has yet to be a suspension,” Rosenhaus said. “Nothing is final yet. I’ve been in touch with coach Gruden, Mike Mayock. We’re doing our best to work this out, trying to keep this relationship moving in a good direction again.”

On whether or not Brown will play on Monday, Rosenhaus said, “I’m not optimistic that I can give you and answer to that right now.”

-- The NFL is celebrating its 100th year this season and the NBC broadcast team opened up the season in style.

Kind of.

Al Michaels, Cris Collinsworth and Michele Tafoya wore 1920s-themed outfits to mark the league’s anniversary.

And they got their costume fittings on video.

QUOTE OF THE DAY: “I think that you work a long time to get to this point, and these outcomes are very unpredictable because you have the competitive landscape of the league, and you have these other teams that are working extremely hard to beat us.” -- Tom Brady, on the unpredictability of the upcoming season
