-- MLB’s Opening Day was supposed to be on Thursday but the coronavirus changed those plans considerably.

And it definitely didn’t bother Lou Merloni.

Merloni marked what would have been the Red Sox’ season opener in Toronto by wearing his full Red Sox uniform to the studio for OMF.

He also plans to have a catch with Rich Keefe so check back for updates.

-- Dustin Pedroia has put his Chestnut Hill mansion up for sale.

The Red Sox second baseman bought the house, which is just a mile from Tom Brady’s former mansion (also on the market), in 2013 and is listing it for $8.95 million.

The 8,500-square-foot mansion at 125 Yarmouth Rd includes seven bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms, a home gym, media room, a breakfast room, butler’s pantry and two powder rooms. It also boasts French doors that open up onto a stone patio in the backyard.

QUOTE OF THE DAY: “They think Tom Brady should be leading the effort. That’s only fake news and I like Tom Brady. Spoke to him the other day. He’s a great guy.” -- Donald Trump, during his press briefing on Thursday
