AROUND THE WEB:

-- Tom Brady knows how to play with the emotions of fans.

Brady replied to a tweet from Rob Gronkowski on Thursday, calling himself and his former teammate “reunited.”

It started when Gronkowski tweeted a promotion for his brother’s Ice Shaker company, which has teamed up with Brady’s TB12.

Then Brady replied to the tweet to tease the off-field reunion.

And fans noticed the tease.

— MetLife Stadium has released a statement about the black cat who ran onto the field during Monday Night Football this week and the update states the cat has yet to be found.

That cat ran through the field during the Giants-Jets game and disappeared into a seating section and is still on the loose.

“We are hopeful that together we can find the black cat that we all fell in love with Monday night,” the statement reads.

The statement also says the stadium has brought in animal professionals to help in the search and make sure the cat is safe.

QUOTE OF THE DAY: “I think he continues to get better. One of the things he does a really good job of is playing hard in practice. He at times, he pisses off the DBs because he works his butt off — out there blocking, out there getting open. I think that is the good thing about seeing him out there running around.” -- Devin McCourty, to D&K, on N’Keal Harry
