AROUND THE WEB:

-- It was a tough day for the White House and typos on Thursday when the Red Sox visited Donald Trump and were referred to as the Boston Red “Socks” on the White House website before the official transcript was also bungled.

The title of the transcript of Trump’s remarks listed the team as “World Cup Series Champions” rather than “World Series Champions,” as many pointed out on Twitter.

But at least the team enjoyed the tour of the Lincoln Bedroom.

-- Julian Edelman is about to become a college graduate.

The Patriots wide receiver is set to walk with this year’s Kent State graduating class to finish what he started back in 2006.

“This Saturday, I will be walking with my fellow Kent State graduates. Completing what I started back in 06. I want to set a great example for my daughter, and complete a promise I made to my parents over 10 years ago. To my fellow Golden Flash graduates, Congratulations! #LetsGo,” Edelman tweeted on Thursday.

Edelman played three seasons at Kent State after spending one year at the College of San Mateo in California. He was then drafted by the Patriots before he could graduate.

I believe it is important to finish what you start. This Saturday, I will be walking with my fellow Kent State graduates. Completing what I started back in 06. It is important to me that I make my parents proud as I fulfill a promise that I made to them that I would, one day, be a college graduate. I also want to set a great example for my daughter, so that when I talk about the importance of a college degree, I can show her that earning my degree was important to me. To my fellow Golden Flash graduates, Congratulations! #LetsGo⚡️⚡️⚡️
