Justin Verlander received quite the surprise on Friday when a waiter in Beverly Hills added a $1 million charge to his bill for a “Dodger Killer.”

The Astros pitcher posted a picture of the receipt from the Beverly Hills Hotel’s Cabana Cafe showing the huge extra charge. Verlander and the Astros beat the Dodgers in the World Series last season.

Verlander’s tweet shows the rest of the bill wasn’t cheap either, as he paid TEN DOLLARS for a cranberry juice.

And I know this is Beverly Hills and of course Verlander can afford it, but according to the menu at the Cabana Cafe, the $42 McCarthy Salad is simply “Romaine, Iceberg, Organic Chicken, Egg, Roasted Beets, Bacon, Avocado, Cheddar, Tomato, Balsamic Vinaigrette.”

That’s more outrageous than the $1 million charge, actually.

Former tennis player Mardy Fish was dining with Verlander and also tweeted a picture of receipt, saying he took care of the tip.
