Marlins reportedly considering Red Sox as possible landing spot Brad Ziegler

The Red Sox are reportedly among the teams the Marlins are considering for a possible Brad Ziegler move, according to Jon Heyman.

“brad ziegler, who has allowed just 2 ER over his last 27 innings dating back to June 2, likely to be moved soon. cubs, Red Sox among possible landing spots, also perhaps Indians, astros,” Heyman tweeted on Sunday.

The 38-year-old played in Boston in 2016 before signing a a two-year, $16 million contract with the Marlins.

Ziegler has an ERA of 3.98 with 37 strikeouts in 53 appearances this season.
