AROUND THE WEB:

-- The Chiefs toppled the Texans 51-31 on Sunday and scored so many times they caused a problem for the Arrowhead Stadium staff.

After each Chiefs touchdown, fireworks would go off in celebration but the team ran up the score so much that the stadium actually ran out of fireworks.

Arrowhead even placed a message on the jumbotron alerting fans of the shortage.

“Chiefs fans, we are sorry to report but, due to your support and the Chiefs continually finding the endzone, we have run out of touchdown fireworks. Please direct all of your complaints to your nearest fans first booth,” the message read.

Not exactly the worst problem to have.

-- One Chiefs fan did not get to see the fireworks message on the jumbotron because he left the game early claiming he was bad luck.

While the Chiefs were trailing 24-0 to the Texans, a Kansas City fan posted a video of himself leaving the game to try to change the momentum.

And Patrick Mahomes had a message for that fan after the game.

The fan then responded and Mahomes responded directly to him.

QUOTE OF THE DAY: “There’s a lot of time to figure these things out. I don’t think any player or team is ready to make any commitments at this point and I am sure as the offseason progresses those things will take care of themselves.” -- Tom Brady, on where he might play football in 2020
