-- Rob Gronkowski’s big announcement last week was about his partnership with CBDMEDIC and Perry Antelman but that doesn’t mean a future in wrestling is out of the question.

TMZ caught up with “No. 1 businessman” Gronkowski and when he was asked if WWE could be in his future, he mentioned Mojo Rawley as an inspiration.

“Yeah, my friend’s in there, and he’s a little wimp,” Gronkowski said. “So, I got to go in that ring and whoop his ass.”

So there you have it.

-- Andrew Luck retired from the NFL last week and followed up his goodbye press conference with a full-page ad in the Indianapolis Star thanking Colts fans for their support.

“Dear Colts Nation,” it reads. “Thank you! Thank you for an incredible eight years. For welcoming me with open arms. For helping me grow on and off the field. For helping Nicole and I make Indiana our home. And for showing us the true meaning of Hoosier hospitality. It has been the honor of a lifetime to represent the Colts and the city of Indianapolis on the world’s stage. I can’t wait to see our team take the field and continue the journey. I’m proud to be a Midwesterner, a Hoosier, and a Colt. Andrew Luck, 12.”

QUOTE OF THE DAY: “I thought both players played well in camp. I like both players. But in the end, there are a number of considerations you have to make so we did what we felt was best for the team. I think Brian is a good player. It’s a long season, so we’ll see what happens.” -- Bill Belichick, on a potential Brian Hoyer return after the Patriots released him on Saturday
