Mookie Betts says goodbye to former Red Sox teammates on Instagram

Mookie Betts is leaving Boston to join the Dodgers and he said goodbye to his former Red Sox teammates on Instagram. 

“Nothing will be the same. Love ya bro! I’ll see you soon,” he wrote to Jackie Bradley Jr.

And for J.D. Martinez, Betts posted, “I’ll be FaceTiming you everyday in the cage. Keep banging dawg!”

On Twitter, Martinez doubled down on his sad face emoji once the Betts trade finally went through.
