Famous Red Sox bullpen cop and Boston Police Officer, Steve Horgan, is wrapping up his final season with the team, as he is set to retire in January.

He gained fame in Game 2 of the 2013 ALCS against the Tigers when he raised his hands up in celebration as David Ortiz hit a game-tying grand slam in the eighth inning and Torii Hunter flipped into the bullpen right in front of Hogan in an attempt to catch the ball.

“I’m going to miss the whole atmosphere of Fenway Park,” Horgan said. “It’s been fun. I’m going to miss all the great people that work here. Everyone has treated me nice and with respect.”

The pose was a popular Halloween costume that year and Horgan estimates he’s taken about 25,000 pictures with fans.

He also said he hopes to pursue his hobby of cooking in retirement.
