AROUND THE WEB:

-- After the Blues beat the Sharks on Tuesday to move on to a Stanley Cup Final matchup against the Bruins, Jayson Tatum triggered some Boston fans with a tweet in support of St. Louis.

“Let’s gooooooo!!!,” the Celtic tweeted in response to a Blues tweet about the win.

Tatum is from St. Louis but Boston fans don’t care about that.

But some people understood.

-- Tatum’s teammate Marcus Smart also took to Twitter but this time it was to respond to being named to the NBA’s all-defensive first team.

“Love this and am honored and appreciate all the love and votes. Thank you! I want a banner though. Offseason is a myth. Let’s get it!,” Smart tweeted.

Smart also said in an interview he appreciates the honor.

"I was ecstatic," Smart told NBC Sports Boston. "I'm definitely appreciative of being recognized for what I do defensively. But I'm not in this for awards or accolades. I want to win games, win a championship."

QUOTE OF THE DAY: "There's going to be heightened emotions. It's a binary decision now. It's us or them. There's no third part, no ties. One of us is going to win the Stanley Cup -- either the St. Louis Blues or the Boston Bruins.” -- David Backes, on facing the Blues, his former team, in the Stanley Cup Final next week
