-- Facebook’s Boston team just named the new conference rooms in their Cambridge office and chose a Sweet Caroline theme as an homage to the hometown team.

The conference rooms are named after lyrics to Sweet Caroline, which, of course is what Red Sox fans sing during games at Fenway Park in the middle of the eighth inning.

Conference room names include Buh Buh Buh, Bah Bah Bah and So Good So Good So Good.

It does not get cornier than that.

-- It looks like Kyler Murray’s football career might not be over.

The Oakland A’s selected the Oklahoma quarterback as the ninth pick of the MLB draft in 2018 and he signed a deal in June that included a $4.66 million signing bonus and it let him play football for the Sooners for one last season before joining the A's.

Murray then won the Heisman Trophy and now the A’s expect him to declare for the 2019 NFL draft.

The A's would still retain Murray’s professional rights should he be chosen in the NFL Draft and try to make it in the NFL before the MLB.

Murray’s agent is Scott Boras and Boras said on Wednesday night his client "has a baseball contract.”

As for Murray himself, he said he’s not sure which sport he would like to play professionally.

“I’d like to do both, if possible,'' he said. "But I don't know how possible that is."

QUOTE OF THE DAY: “And then he looked over at us quarterbacks, and we had all thrown an interception -- thank goodness I wasn’t the only one. And he said, ‘It would help if you guys would stop throwing it to the other team.’ And I got a kick out of that because I’m standing next to Peyton Manning and Cassel. And Peyton’s, if not my all-time favorite, one of [them> and I was glad I wasn’t the only one that had thrown it to the other team. I thought that was pretty good. I got fussed at at halftime of the Pro Bowl.” -- Philip Rivers, on getting ripped by Bill Belichick in the Pro Bowl
