-- Paul Pierce is living up to his “Truth” nickname.

Kind of.

The former Celtic and current NBA analyst said on ESPN on Wednesday night, the 11th anniversary of the Wheelchair Game, it might not have been an injury that dramatically sent him from the game.

Pierce later clarified on Twitter that he was joking.

He’s a great player and I am sure Coach Cassidy and their coaching staff and their players will handle it as well as they possibly can, so what exactly that is, I don’t know. I don’t know that type of situation.” -- Bill Belichick, on the Bruins and Zdeno Chara
