-- The Patriots acquired Mohamed Sanu from the Falcons and a bunch of his new teammates welcomed him to the team on Twitter.

Sanu tweeted “LFG!!!” about the news and Tom Brady responded by tweeting, “See you soon.”

Julian Edelman expressed his excitement in GIF form.

Jason and Devin McCourty are also excited about the move.

And Kyle Van Noy is here for this as well.

-- A former Patriots player and current Falcon also weighed in on Twitter about Sanu, saying he is in favor of the move.

Kenjon Barner is in his first season with the Falcons but knows the Patriots' culture and Sanu well enough to know this will work out well in New England.

“The @Patriots just got real one, a hell of a player but a even better person ! Gone fit right in with the culture, is exactly the type of player Bill is looking for, a hard worker, and a (expletive) dog! #MoOut”

QUOTE OF THE DAY: “Well, I think we are working through that. We’ll put him in and see how it goes. He’s a talented player. He’s got a lot of experience. He’s done different things, so we’ll see how it all fits for us.” -- Bill Belichick, to OMF, on Mohamed Sanu
