By late Sunday there will be almost as many Bruins roster players in Boston as there are on the road trip that continued Saturday against the Arizona Coyotes and concludes Wednesday in Detroit.

The Bruins sent injured center Patrice Bergeron (upper body) and defenseman John Moore (lower body) back to Boston to be re-evaluated Saturday ahead of the game against the Coyotes.

Bergeron was injured in the second period of a 1-0 loss at Dallas on Friday. Stars forward Radek Faksa drove Bergeron hard into the boards and Bergeron left the game grabbing at his left shoulder. He returned later in the period but played just five shifts in the third period and didn't take any faceoffs. He sat out the overtime.

Moore hasn't played since he logged 20:06 of ice time in the 6-3 at the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday.

With the upcoming gap between games, it's possible Bergeron and/or Moore could rejoin the Bruins before the game against the Red Wings. But for now the Bruins injury list has grown to include Bergeron and Moore in addition to Zdeno Chara (MCL), Charlie McAvoy (concussion), Kevan Miller (hand), Brandon Carlo (upper body) and Urho Vaakanainen (concussion).
