The NHL is still holding out hope that it can complete the 2019-20 season, even if that means playing the Stanley Cup playoffs in July and August.

But the Coronavirus shutdown has forced the league to face some reality when it comes to a few of its major events, and the NHL announced four things have been postponed.

The NHL Scouting Combine, originally scheduled for June 1-6 in Buffalo, N.Y., the NHL Awards scheduled for June 18 in Las Vegas and the NHL Draft scheduled for June 26-27 in Montreal have been postponed. In addition the NHL Draft Lottery, which typically happens in May, has also been postponed.

The league announced that the “location, timing and format” for the lottery and draft will be announced at a later date.

According to CapFriendly.com, the Bruins have one pick in each the second, third, fifth, sixth and seventh round after trading their first-round pick to the Anaheim Ducks as part of the Ondrej Kase-David Backes trade.
