Bowl season is coming to Fenway Park.

According to Stadium Network's Brett McMurphy, the ACC and AAC will play a new bowl game at Fenway Park starting in 2020. Combined with two other new bowls in Los Angeles and Myrtle Beach, the game will bring the number of college football bowl games to a record 43, meaning 65 percent of 130 FBS schools will play in a bowl game.

Two other Major League Baseball stadiums currently host bowl games -- Yankee Stadium with the Pinstripe Bowl and Chase Field in Arizona with the Cheez-It Bowl. The Pinstripe Bowl, one of the few outdoor bowls in a cold-weather city, has been going on since 2010.

Fenway Park has hosted a couple college football games in recent years, include Boston College-Notre Dame in 2015 and Harvard-Yale in 2018.

[UPDATE 4:00 p.m.]: Per WEEI.com's Ryan Hannable, while Fenway Park would love to host a college bowl game and are exploring the possibility, nothing is firm as of now.
