After suffering a toe injury in the first half of last Sunday night's win in Indianapolis and not practicing all week, Marcus Cannon has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Jets at Gillette Stadium. Also missing the contest will be defensive lineman Jabaal Sheard, who suffered an ankle injury in the contest. Linebacker Rufus Johnson has also been ruled out. As for Dont'a Hightower, who missed the game in Indianapolis with a rib injury, he was limited all week and is officially listed as questionable (50-50) for Sunday. Offensive lineman Shaq Mason returned on Friday and was limited. He was also listed as questionable for Sunday. Brandon Bolden, wide receiver Keshawn Martin are also questionable after being limited again in Friday's practice because of hamstring injuries. In addition, Matthew Slater (knee), Trey Flowers (knee/shoulder), Dion Lewis (abdomen) and Josh Kline (shoulder) were also limited and are listed as questionable. Receiver Brandon LaFell (foot) did not show up on the injury report this week since he has yet to be activated to the 53-man roster off PUP reserve. LaFell practiced all week but when asked Friday in the locker room how much he practiced, he directed all inquiries to coach Bill Belichick. For more Patriots news, visit weei.com/patriots.
