More All-America honors for BC linebacker Luke Kuechly

Boston College linebacker Luke Kuechly was named first-team All-America by The Associated Press and Sports Illustrated on Wednesday. Kuechly received similar honors from the Walter Camp Foundation and the Football Writers' Association of America last week. It marks his second consecutive placement on all four teams. The 6-foot-4, 237-pounder led the nation with an ACC single-season record 191 tackles and has an ACC-record 532 career tackles as well. Last month, Kuechly was named ACC Defensive Player of the Year. He also has been named winner of the Butkus Award (nation's top linebacker), Rotary Lombardi Award (nation's top lineman), Lott Impact Trophy (defensive impact player of the year) and Bronko Nagurski Award (nation's top defensive player).
