You did it! You made it to the two days that start with the letter "S"! You know, the days that used to be the time you didn't have to work but now every day is kinda the same? Yeah, alright! And now some interesting things about sports and/or other things that might start with "S" you could be interested in!

SATURDAY - 2011 Stanley Cup Final Game 7, 1 p.m.

Both Zdeno Chara AND hockey fans of NESN voted for this game to be rebroadcast, so it must be a dandy. Also, the Bruins win the Stanley Cup here.

SUNDAY - Last Dance, eps 9 & 10, ESPN, 9 & 10 p.m.

The conclusion to the sports docu-series of the year.

While we wait for the four major American sports to figure out who's playing when, where, how, and for how much, sports fans are at least treated to some form of televised competition. This weekend in the form of a charitable golf match to benefit both the American Nurses and the CDC Foundations. The match, at one of America's finest courses, takes place between Rory McIlroy, Rickie Fowler, Dustin Johnson and Matthew Wolff. The event is basically a Skins format (it doesn't count for the PGA Tour, so do Best Ball or Longest Drive for all we care, just play!) and should get fans excited for next weekend's charity spectacular, THE MATCH, featuring Phil Mickelson, Tiger Woods, Tom Brady and Peyton Manning.

Not that it will comfort you, make you laugh or warm your heart. Mostly it will just drop jaw agape and leave you asking so many questions, like "Where has be been?" and "How do I become a delivery pizza billionaire?" Papa John's TikTok (yes, that Papa John) about his home, because damn.

And by this I mean an out-of-work clown masquerading as the devil on a golf course who causes you to suffer a seaosn ending injury during a pandemic.

We should be watching playoffs at Boston Garden 2.0 right now. Instead all I can offer you is this piece of nostalgic sports fun; from the final game at BG 1.0 some 25 years ago.
