Happy Friday! You ready for that weekend? Gonna be different now that we realized we've been throwing away trash incorrectly all this time.

Here are some things you need for the next three days to be the best fan possible.

BROADCAST HIGHLIGHT / ON THIS DAY IN BOSTON SPORTS HISTORY

A RARE TWO-FER! Yes, it's the 36 year anniversary of Game 7 of the 1984 NBA Finals. Celtics/Lakers at it's best, as far as we're concerned. And since it's nowhere to be found on TV tonight, please enjoy this classic via the interwebs.

SOUR BEER

We talk a lot about Brady, and his "new" teammate Gronk, because we miss them, and they played such a large part in our lives the past decade or two. Obviously most of us will be watching them this fall with great interest. But their success could come, depending on how the Pats do, with a taste of sour grapes. Which makes this new beer, made by a local brewery, all too appropriate.

-- New beer alert -- I know some people will be a little upset about this beer, just remember it is just a joke. We love our two former Patriot players. That being said we have a unique brew for you. It is an imperial fruit sour with Florida Key limes and a dash of sea salt. This beer reminds me of getting old and having to retire in Florida --For curbside pick up, check out the bio or click https://smugbrewing.square.site for Facebook. #cheers #craftbeer #craft #beersnob #drinklocal #drinklocalcraftbeer #beer #brewery #Rhode Island #pvd #Pawtucket #RI #IPA #401 #beerporn #craftbeerinsta #smuglife #smugbrewingco #besmug

Of course the beer had to be a bitter fruited ale. And the kicker of a little salt...perfect for the New England fan. I'm having some delivered. Will letcha know how it tastes. Bittersweet is my guess.

A WORTHY INTERRUPTION

On the heels of the Torii Hunter interview on WEEI, and the Red Sox statement of acknowledgment, this segment from PTI featuring co-host Michael Wilbon saying the only time anyone used the ultimate racial slur to his face was in the Boston Garden, hits hard. And is sure to rekindle the discussion about Boston sports and potentially racist fan interactions.

VIDEO GAME GEEK ALERT

After years of development, and a pandemic necessitated delay, the PS5 finally launched their teaser video. Which means arguably the greatest video game system ever is coming soon. And sure, we could've used a PS5 these past three months of viral do-nothing-ness...but this mini-stormtrooper game engine of the future looks pretty sweet. Gonna be pretty rad to play a game that looks more lifelike than the games we watch.

INSERT YOUR OWN GOLF CLAPS

The PGA returned Thursday, with real pros and no fans. And largely it didn't seem any different. Minus the golf claps and occasional cheers. Otherwise it was...a good chance to wonder how we'll ever be as good as these guys...then take a nice 90 minute TV nap.

TWEET OF THE DAY

BECAUSE WE NEED THIS

Forget quarantine necessitated invention...how we never though to do this by now is beyond me. Like why it took so long for us to figure out we should put wheels on the bottom of suitcases.
